Meet preview coverage below:

Last year this meet was where Chris Schwartz really made his presence known. He
won the boy's championship race in a time of 15:21 and it looked easy for him. This
year he is a marked man but I look for him to win again.

Last year the Drillers went to this meet but this year we are sitting it out. This year the
following Kern schools are competing: McFarland, Arvin, Foothill, Highland and
Ridgeview. Ridgeview's girls are undefeated in duals and invites this year.
