Howlin' at the Moon 2008 was moved to riverwalk this year. we got there late and this
year, the race started on time (830pm).

my canon cant take photos at night at all and my casio isnt much better. i tried to take
some videos and a few photos while i walked the 5k.

  • mcfarland brought a big crowd to the race and many of them ran the 10k. galvin
    gonazales (mcfarland) won the 10k and ryan lucker pulled of a nice double by winning the
    howlin 5k and coming in 3rd at the rock to pier in the morning.
  • on the women's side, i believe lina nunez won the 5k and i dont now the 10k winners
    name. it was Shawna Roundtree (bc runner).
  • when i find results, i will post them HERE.
  • csub, bc, bhs, ridgeview and several of local high school runners showed up for this night
    time event too.

2k around the park at 8:00 PM, timed 5k and 10k along the bike path at 8:30 PM  Awards for all categories of
the 5k and 10k. Come join us for Kern County’s only night time run. $20 for early registration received by July
