race update:
  • at 1:20 pm, the drillers are still running well. david thinks he could of run
    better. my son chris was happy with his run. michael is running now and
    then talon will anchor. ariey thinks they are in the top 15 and hope to
    stay there or maybe move up.
  • at 10am, ariey reports that edquist ran the first leg in about a hour
    despite not feeling to good. the two mcfarland teams were in front of
    them. galvin (mcfarland grad) ran the first leg for his squad and was
    leading the race. the highland squad was a couple minutes behind the
    drillers. ariey ran the second leg in about a  hour also with a bum knee.
    oscar (running for highland) caught up to him. the csub team lead by
    ryan lucker is up there too. the next legs will be run by van matre,
    anderson,quintero,mccarthy and reed.
